Participation Follow-up: Inauguration of Intact’s Baule Facility – ISALT Supporting a Low-Carbon Industry

Paris, June 4, 2026

In 2023, The Fonds Stratégique des Transitions (FST) invested €15 million in Intact to support the launch of its operations and the construction of its first industrial facility in Baule, in the Loiret region of France.

On May 30, Nicolas Dubourg, Patricia Salomon, and Laurent Piccoli represented ISALT at the inauguration of the site, marking a major milestone for Intact and reaffirming ISALT’s conviction through the FST: to support French SMEs and mid-sized companies capable of creating new industrial sectors that are low-carbon and sustainably rooted in local communities.

Intact has developed a patented process that requires no water, no solvents, and no fossil energy, enabling the production of ingredients derived from French-grown legumes.

This innovation has led to the creation of two product ranges:
NATURE®
, functional plant proteins for human and animal nutrition;
PULSE®, the world’s first second-generation certified neutral alcohol made from legumes.

The project perfectly illustrates the potential of an innovative, agricultural, and regionally anchored French industry.

Today, it brings together:
– 2,000 farmers committed to the Cultiv’Up Regen value chain;
– 75 skilled jobs created locally;
– €75 million invested in the Baule industrial facility.

Alongside Intact’s teams, particularly Alexis Duval and Fanny de Castelnau, ISALT is part of a collective dynamic that brings together industrial, agricultural, financial, and public-sector partners around a shared ambition: to build a new French legume sector that is innovative, sustainable, and deeply rooted in local territories.

This momentum is also driven by the commitment of key partners such as AXEREAL and Banque des Territoires, whose involvement directly contributes to the development of this agricultural and industrial value chain.

Held in the presence of Regional Prefect Hugues Moutouh and Regional Council President François Bonneau, the inauguration provides a tangible illustration of how major transitions take shape: through concrete industrial projects driven by entrepreneurs, local communities, and long-term committed investors.
