Nicolas Dubourg is President and Co-CEO of ISALT, as well as one of its Founding Partners. He is also CEO of the Fonds Stratégique de Participations (FSP), which he helped establish in 2012.
Previously, Nicolas was a member of the Executive Board at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, in charge of investment solutions. He has developed deep expertise across a wide range of asset classes and fund structuring for institutional clients. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at Société Générale and Crédit Lyonnais, accumulating over 25 years of operational and leadership experience in capital markets and asset management.
A graduate of École Polytechnique, Nicolas holds a DEA and a PhD in applied mathematics with a focus on finance. Originally from the Southwest of France, he is a competitive tennis player and a passionate guitarist.
Patricia Salomon is Co-CEO of ISALT, as well as one of its Founding Partners. She is also Secretary-General of the Fonds Stratégique de Participations (FSP), which she helped establish in 2012.
Previously, Patricia was Head of Legal and Governance and Corporate Secretary at Edmond de Rothschild, where she gained over 20 years of diverse experience across banking, asset management, and investment. She has led numerous M&A transactions on behalf of the Edmond de Rothschild Group and its clients.
Patricia began her career as a corporate lawyer at international law firms Gide Loyrette Nouel and Siméon & Associés. She later held legal roles at BNP Paribas and CDC Marchés, before joining Natixis CIB as Head of Legal for Alternative Investments and Structured Products.
A trained attorney, Patricia holds a Master’s degree in International Trade Law and a Bachelor’s in Business Law. She is a contemporary art collector and an avid traveler.
Claude Hériard Dubreuil is a Managing Director, member of the Investment Committee, as well as one of ISALT’s Founding Partners. He manages part of the FSP portfolio and participates in the selection of new investments.
Claude brings deep expertise in industrial sectors, including automotive, aerospace, and defense, as well as in emerging technologies. He has a strong background in valuing both publicly listed and privately held companies.
Before joining ISALT, Claude was an analyst and portfolio manager for the FSP at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management. Prior to that, he spent over two decades as an advisor in the Research & Valuation Department of the Edmond de Rothschild Group, where he worked on a wide range of transactions including M&A, debt restructuring, IPOs, and privatizations, across various industries and company sizes—often on behalf of the French government. He began his career as a financial analyst specializing in the automotive sector at Paribas.
Claude holds degrees from the European Business School and the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF). He is also a theology specialist and passionate about literature.
Andrea Beneventi is a Managing Director, member of the Investment Committee, as well as one of ISALT’s Founding Partners. He manages part of the FSP portfolio and participates in selecting new investments, with a focus on TMT, consumer goods, renewable energy, chemicals, pharma, and ESG. He also oversees investor relations for the FSP and coordinates the work of its Investment Committee.
Prior to ISALT, Andrea was a portfolio manager for the FSP at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management for three years. He began his career as a sell-side media analyst (Exane BNP Paribas UK), then co-headed the media team at Kepler Cheuvreux. He later joined Kering as Head of Investor Relations and Competitive Intelligence.
Andrea holds an MSc in Market Finance from Bocconi University (Italy). French and Italian by nationality, he is cosmopolitan and European at heart, enjoys running, and is passionate about mountains and hiking.
Jean-Hervé Lorenzi earned a PhD in Economics in 1974 and ranked first in the French national competitive exam for law and economics faculties. He also received the Best Thesis Award from the French Economic Association in 1975.
Author of numerous books, his latest, La Grande Rupture, co-written with economist Alain Villemeur, was published by Odile Jacob.
He has held numerous positions: CEO of SARI, CEA-INDUSTRIE, GRAS-SAVOYE, member of the Executive Board at Edmond de Rothschild, and Professor of Economics at the University of Paris 13 and Paris-Dauphine. He was also Economic Advisor to Prime Minister Edith Cresson.
Born in Toulon, his analyses are frequently covered by the press. Chevalier de l’ordre national du Mérite and officier de la Légion d’honneur, he founded the Cercle des Économistes and chairs the Aix-en-Provence Economic Meetings. He also holds the Research Chair on Demographic and Economic Transitions.
Caroline Breton joined ISALT in October 2021, supporting the team in matters of compliance, internal control, and regulatory oversight.
Before ISALT, Caroline held various positions for five years at the Asset Management Division of the AMF, overseeing a portfolio of 45 management companies of all sizes and sectors. She also processed license applications for these companies. She began her career at Lazard Frères Gestion in the Institutional Middle Office and later at La Banque Postale Private Management.
Caroline holds a Master’s in Portfolio Management from Université Paris-Est Créteil (IAE Gustave Eiffel). An accomplished equestrian, she competes in show jumping and dressage.
Nicolas Georghiou joined ISALT in July 2020. After several years in listed assets, he moved to the private equity team, where he is now Vice President. He specializes in chemicals, ingredients, cosmetics, as well as energy, aerospace, space, and defense industries, and monitors climate and carbon footprint issues across the portfolio.
Nicolas started his career at PwC in Transaction Services, then at Advancy in strategy consulting. He graduated from the ESSEC Grande École program, specializing in Corporate Finance and International Negotiation.
A mountain sports enthusiast, Nicolas spends much of his weekends in the Alps skiing, climbing, cycling, or hiking.
Stéphanie Cretin joined ISALT in September 2020 as the Administrative Manager.
After a year at AG2R, she joined Alma Consulting Group in 2008 as a consulting assistant prior to being an executive assistant. In 2015, she became Executive Secretary at Deloitte Francophone Africa for two years, followed by a position supporting an associate at Interfaces, a management and innovation firm. From 2018 to 2020, she assisted a consulting team at Alexander Hughes.
Stéphanie studied Law at Paris 12 University and holds a BTS in SME/SMI Management Assistance. She is a yoga practitioner.
Maxime Amiant joined ISALT in April 2022 as a Senior Associate, analyzing new investments in listed and unlisted companies and monitoring FSP holdings.
Previously, he worked 4.5 years at Weinberg Capital Partners, first in the NOBEL team learning long-term listed investment practices with a supportive approach to managers, then as an Associate in WCP IMPACT DEV, investing minority stakes in unlisted companies addressing environmental and societal issues.
He began his career in Transaction Services at KPMG performing financial due diligence for private equity funds and large international groups.
Maxime holds a Master’s in Financial Engineering from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. Originally from Nantes, he is passionate about sports, running, swimming, skiing, and long cycling trips.
Laurent Piccoli joined ISALT in July 2022 as a Director, focusing on developing the private asset portfolio and serving on the Investment Committee.
Previously, he was Senior Investment Director at Bpifrance International Capital, helping support the development of unlisted French companies in co-investment with sovereign funds. He participated in numerous private equity deals in industry, technology, healthcare, and education. He began his career in audit and Transaction Services at PwC, then joined CDC’s Private Equity division. He has over 15 years of private equity and investment advisory experience.
Laurent graduated from EM Lyon and Centrale Lyon and holds a Chartered Accountant qualification (DEC). An avid traveler and kite surfer, he particularly enjoys Brazil.
Daniel Rayot joined ISALT in September 2022 as the Development Director, leading fundraising with French and international investors. He also identifies companies within ISALT’s investment universe and serves on the Investment Committee.
Previously, Daniel worked in Equity Sales at Bryan, Garnier & Co, managing a portfolio of European investors. He participated in numerous IPOs and capital raises in renewable energy, health, and technology, supporting French champions like Waga Energy, Valneva, Carbios, and Neoen. He also worked at Natixis on Equity Capital Markets for small- and mid-cap listed companies in France, accumulating 15 years of experience.
Daniel graduated from EDHEC Business School. He holds dual French-German nationality and enjoys exploring southern Bavaria, the Chiemsee area, and German iconic beer festivals.
Giulia joined ISALT in October 2024 as a Managing Director, complementing the team managing and developing the FSP portfolio.
Previously, she spent nearly 17 years at Goldman Sachs Paris in M&A as a Managing Director, advising French and international clients—listed and unlisted—across industry, energy, and TMT sectors. She guided clients in implementing acquisition and divestment strategies for both majority and minority stakes.
Giulia holds dual French-Italian nationality, grew up in Rome, and has lived in Paris since the start of her higher education. She graduated from HEC. She enjoys reading, sports, and spending time with her daughters, family, and friends.
Sophie Bénard joined ISALT in October 2023 as a Vice President, strengthening ISALT’s industrial and technological expertise throughout the investment cycle.
She spent five years at Innovafeed, first as Head of Industrial Performance, then as Director of the first international deployment project in the US. She also gained industrial knowledge through consulting at Avencore in France and Germany, supporting clients on competitiveness, development programs, and industrial transformation.
Sophie holds engineering degrees from Centrale Paris and TU Berlin, and an Executive MBA from HEC. French and British, she mentors industrial startups and supports the Tech and Industrial ecosystem. She enjoys boxing, running, and meditation.
Sagane Tuffier joined ISALT in September 2023 as CFO, overseeing financial, accounting, and tax management for the funds and the management company.
She began in asset management audit at KPMG, then joined Andera Partners as Senior Financial Controller, and later Prodensia in outsourced fund CFO services.
Sagane holds a Master’s in Audit, Control, and Public Management from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. From Île de Ré, she enjoys long hikes and exploring new sports.
Sarah Loertscher joined ISALT in November 2023 as an Associate, analyzing new investments and monitoring portfolio companies.
Previously, she spent three years at Mazars in Financial Audit and Restructuring, supporting SMEs and larger companies in cash flow planning and working capital optimization. She holds an Agrégation in Economics-Management and a Master’s in Financial Audit & Reporting from Université Paris Dauphine.
A native of Toulouse, she enjoys cooking, modern dance, guitar, piano, and singing.
Alexandre Paris joined ISALT in February 2024 as an Analyst, analyzing new investment opportunities and portfolio companies.
Alexandre began his career as an intern in the Structured Finance department at CIC Lyonnaise de Banque, where he assisted companies in structuring financial transactions. He later joined ISALT for an initial internship focused on analyzing both listed and private investment opportunities.
Before returning to ISALT, Alexandre worked at IDIA Capital Investissement, where he focused on investment opportunities in the Energy Transition and Low-Carbon Economy sectors.
He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management and Taxation from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and is a graduate of the Grande École program at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School.
Originally from Suisse Normande, Alexandre is passionate about cycling and long-distance running.
Grégoire joined ISALT in March 2024 as a Managing Director, responsible for developing the private asset portfolio alongside Laurent Piccoli and serving on the Investment Committee.
He spent 13 years at BNP Paribas Group, beginning in the investment banking division where he specialized in energy and infrastructure project finance. This role took him to New York, London, and Singapore before he settled in Paris.
Grégoire later joined BNP Paribas Développement, the group’s private equity arm, where he led around 30 transactions across 15 portfolio companies in sectors including energy transition, industrials, and technology. He also initiated and launched the energy transition vertical within the firm’s private equity practice.
Grégoire is a graduate of CentraleSupélec. A rock music enthusiast, he is also passionate about board sports and recently added wing foiling to his repertoire.
Julien Castel joined ISALT in March 2025 as an Analyst, focusing on listed company investments.
Before joining ISALT, Julien gained experience in asset management through several internships. He first worked as a Financial Analyst at ODDO BHF, contributing to European small-cap funds with a stock-picking approach. His work focused on identifying growth stocks with strong momentum and reasonable valuations. He then joined Amiral Gestion as a Financial Analyst, supporting portfolio managers in tracking existing holdings and evaluating new investment opportunities across European small-cap and global equity funds. His approach emphasized fundamental analysis and stock selection, targeting high-quality, undervalued companies.
Julien also completed an internship at ISALT within the FSP prior to joining the team full-time.
He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate and Market Finance and an MSc in International Finance from EDHEC Business School, where he also earned a BBA.
Originally from Touraine, a region known for its Loire Valley castles and renowned wines, Julien is passionate about sports. He previously played football and tennis, and now competes in padel.
Marine Tallon joined ISALT in January 2025 as an Investor Relations Anlayst. She contributes to fundraising initiatives and manages relationships with both existing and prospective investors.
Prior to joining ISALT, Marine gained solid experience as a Product Management Analyst at Ardian. She also worked in the Wealth Management division of UBS France, where she served as an Investment Product Specialist for both traditional and alternative funds.
Marine holds a Master’s degree from the Grande École program at EDHEC Business School, and enriched her academic journey through international exchanges in Amsterdam and Bangkok.
She holds dual French American citizenship, and is passionate about hiking and literature. She has a strong interest in discovering new cultures, having lived in both the United States and Hong Kong.
Marie-Gabrielle Figeac joined ISALT in May 2025 as a Director within the Private Equity team. She is involved in sourcing and analyzing new investment opportunities in private companies, primarily for the Strategic Transitions Fund (FST), and also supports portfolio monitoring.
Before joining ISALT, Marie-Gabrielle was a Director at Leto Partners, a fund specializing in the decarbonization of European SMEs and mid-sized companies.
She began her private equity career at PAI Partners, a leading international buyout fund with €27 billion in assets under management. Over five years, she contributed to the acquisition and management of portfolio companies across healthcare, industrials, and business services in major European markets.
Marie-Gabrielle started her career in strategy consulting at LEK Consulting, where she conducted strategic due diligence for private equity funds and multinational corporations across Paris, London, and Munich for four years.
She holds a Master in Management from ESCP Europe (Grande École program), following preparatory classes.
Originally from Nice, Marie-Gabrielle enjoys spending her free time away from the city, where her Weimaraner, Pallas, can roam freely.
Morena Bernardini joined ISALT in June 2025 as a Managing Director – Defense Expert, with a mission to support the strategic development of the defense sector within the firm.
Before joining ISALT, Morena held senior leadership roles at major international aerospace and defense companies, including ArianeGroup, Thales Alenia Space, Airbus Defense and Space, and MBDA. She brings extensive expertise in the European space and defense industries, gained through projects spanning both civilian and military domains.
An aerospace engineer by training, Morena also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Strategic Alliance Management from INSEAD.

Her career across leading global groups reflects her personal commitment to advancing the influence and capabilities of the European aerospace and defense industry.
Victoria Charles joined ISALT in September 2025 as the ESG & Transitions Lead. She leads the firm’s sustainability strategy and is responsible for strengthening its non-financial performance framework.
Prior to joining ISALT, Victoria spent four years in the ESG team at 123 Investment Managers, where she helped shape the firm’s sustainability strategy and supported portfolio SMEs in enhancing their CSR practices. She previously gained experience in ESG-related roles at Ardian and Siparex, where she developed her expertise in responsible investment.
Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Finance from ESSCA and has earned an AMF certification in Sustainable Finance, reinforcing her command of ESG-related issues in investment.
Curious and athletic by nature, Victoria enjoys discovering new activities and practices a variety of sports, including horseback riding, running, and hiking.
